INTER-GENERATIONAL JOY!!

on Sunday 14th June I ran a little experiment - I invited everyone together, from all of my groups, to a Disco Joy Special - an easy moves disco accessible to all ages from little tots to more seasoned dance floor warriors. 

The results were fantastic! The little ones loved dancing with scarves, flags and toys but more than that, they played, made friends and dipped in and out of disco-ing as they felt comfortable to do so (plus lots of running up and down in the breaks!), 

The mums and other grown ups who had brought children were free to participate in a full dance session, mixing up playfully getting into the music with the youngsters and being able to just go for it themselves. 

Those who came without children in tow had a glorious time dancing their hearts out, even choosing to join in using the props occasionally and benefitting from the children's playfulness, allowing them to fully release into pure fun! 

It couldn't have worked better and we were all riding high on it!
